THREE MAIN THEMES IN THE BIBLE.

THREE MAIN THEMES IN THE BIBLE:

 1.origin and purpose,
 2. personal flourishing,
 3. Relationships/community.

THE ORIGIN AND PURPOSE OF CREATION.
The Bible explains the origin of things that are not manmade and ultimately points to an intelligent Creator who made them with purpose. It calls us to recognize, honor, and have regard for the Creator, and to seek the purpose He has established for everything He made—including the purpose of our own lives.

THE WAY TO THE HIGHEST GOOD.
The Bible provides principles, commands, wisdom, and guidance for preserving and improving human life. It teaches individuals how to develop good character, make wise decisions, avoid destructive ways of living, and pursue the highest good that can be attained in relationship with God and within the limits of human life.  THE WAY WE SHOULD RELATE TO ONE ANOTHER.
The Bible teaches us how to pursue our own legitimate good without disregarding the good of others. We are commanded to love our neighbors, seek their welfare, help those in need, forgive, reconcile, encourage, and support one another. It also teaches us to unite our efforts when cooperation is necessary for the good of families, communities, and humanity.

In the simplest form The Bible teaches us:

 - Where everything came from and why it exists.
-  How each person should live in order to attain the highest good.
-  How people should live together while pursuing the good of themselves and others.

This can almost be reduced to three questions:
-  Where did we come from?
- How should we live?
- How should we live with one another?

In this life:  know the Creator, live rightly, and love others.
