ANY BODY CAN BECOME A CHRISTIAN.

The sin of Adam and Eve separated us (the whole humanity) from God. God being very loving and caring has provided a way in which we can re-fellowship with Him. To connect with God in a personal relationship is the first step in your knowing your purpose here on Earth and to finding your ultimate fulfillment. You know, you cannot get into a deeper relationship with one you do not know well. John 17:3 emphasizes that Truth.

IS CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19) THE ULTIMATE PROOF THAT THERE IS NO GOD?

When diseases and other catastrophes happen, they leave humanity with many questions and speculations. Sometimes it confirms the positions people have already taken about life, at other times it may lead people to change their stand or they are a bit shaken such that they are left in doubts.
That with all the scientific and technological advancement we have in the 21st Century, the scriptures of old can still come true, should cause as to desire the other revelations God has made for mankind instead of running from reality.
In the scriptures from the Holy Bible we read of three things that are required from humanity:
1. Acknowledging the existence of God and loving Him with all our hearts, all our souls, and all our minds.
2. Loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.
3. Obedience to the first two.
Mathew.22:36-40; Micah 6:8.
Given the diversity of human socialization in the 21st Century, people are capable of believing the unimaginable. Some have said there is no God, others have concluded that He is an autocrat who when disobeyed a little, he unleashes his wrath by sending diseases like Corona Virus, Ebola, HIV/AIDS, etc. Still, others, when caught in the happenings they find themselves into in this earth we were born into, they don't know what position to take or they are not interested and are willing to let their lives as a boat in a vast sea of life drift whichever way it takes. The problem with the last disposition is that human beings are always inclined to make meaning of what is happening and to find a purpose for their being here on earth. It is like the three things required of us are inbuilt in every person. So no one can take that don't care position for long.
It must be observed that all we are and all that we will ever be as humans, will always depend on our response to the three rules of life mentioned above.
For example, God threatened diseases without a cure in a language that if well-understood means "You will bring these calamities upon yourselves if you do not ..." And the above three rules apply. Lev.26:14 “However, if you do not listen to me or obey ...16 ... I will bring sudden terrors upon you—wasting diseases and burning fevers that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will plant your crops in vain... 17 I will turn against you, and you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will run even when no one is chasing you! NLT.
Deuteronomy 28:15a, 22. But if you refuse to listen to the LORD your God and do not obey...occupy.22 The LORD will strike you with wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew. These disasters will pursue you until you die. NLT. Jeremiah 46:11 “Go up to Gilead to get medicine,
O virgin daughter of Egypt!
But your many treatments
will bring you no healing. NLT.
All the progress mankind has made in science and technology - eradication of diseases, prolongation of life, reduction of extreme poverty, modern transport, modern communication, space exploration, etc, have been possible because mankind believed they were a higher breed than animals and that they were to rule and concur, an idea got from God: Gen.1:27 So God created human beings* in his own image.
In the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.NLT. We know that God is full of wisdom, He is creative, he is an organizer and a planner, etc. Mankind has heeded and gone ahead to be all that too. Gen.1:28. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” NLT.
As time moved and education that had sprouted out of a desire to achieve God's instruction above - for the achievement of the earlier mentioned 3 rules, was separated from God, and humanity has been made to believe anything and that there is no definite purpose in this life, mankind's progress and advancement may turn out to be the cause of our own destruction.
While mankind was created with the potential to discover habitable planets in space and live among stars and do other wonderful discoveries, having forgotten the three rules of life, we will annihilate ourselves with the beautiful advancements we have made.

"When we invent a new technology, we often do so in ignorance of all of its side effects. We first determine whether it works, and we learn later, sometimes much later, what other effects it has."
It is possible, especially without the guidance of the three rules of life to engage in practices such as war, other acts of hatred, or acts that do not consider the the welfare of others, and in so doing destroy ourselves. It is also possible to create a technology that by design or by mistake destroys those who invented it.
Living by the three rules of life will ensure that we realize we are servants in this life under the master controller of all things and our aim will be to ever make things better than we found them and not worse in any way. The desire to do good to the other will direct all our science and technology adventures. If we all lived in peace and unity, there would be no need for coming up with technologies that have the potential to wipe out humanity - Let us go the way of peace - I don't know any greater sign of advancement than that - PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE. We need to so care about others in a a reasonable manner that no one will be tempted to think that a system somewhere is taking advantage of them and be tempted to revenge or do harm. That also means we should care about how people are socialized because soon they will manifest their inner convictions.
My appeal to the whole world: Let us go back to the three rules of life. Let them guide us in all that we do.

A DEMON REVEALED - THAT CAUSES MOST DISEASES AND ILLNESSES. (Article for Christians)

God has revealed the demon that causes most diseases and illnesses: Most Christians agree that diseases and sicknesses are works of the devil. How to fight this devil is where most Christians have not fully agreed on a strong consensus. Most protestants and evangelicals believe that this devil and its demons must be fought through hours of prayers in churches or in their houses or prayer centers, with prolonged fastings and by special services for breaking curses and 'removing demons and evil spirits' in services where people are pinned down, forced to make certain screams, slapped by the preacher and many other things are done to them as we often witness on our screens. The congregations that promise to win this DEMON that way are normally full to capacity. While prayers are good, and the spiritual devil and demons real, there is this other DEMON that God has revealed, and we must turn our focus to understanding its operations so that we can slay it.
Some major cause of diseases are:
-poverty - The foods that people eat or lack of it, the shelters they live in, sanitation - how people deal with their urine, feces, the water they use to wash utensils, clothes, their bodies, etc, whether they live in areas with open sewages like is the case in slums and poor estates, the water they drink, -social exclusion- that may cause mental illnesses,
- lack of education -on various matters and which makes people also lack employable or self job-creating skills to improve one's living standards - hence poverty and its consequences,
- unemployment - or and lack of skills to employ oneself, and lack of capital (finances) to make it happen. Which in return reduces opportunities for better health.
- The peoples' occupations. This also affects their health.
-The environments we live in
- Whether there is peace or conflicts in the country or community etc.
Christians of sound mind will agree that yes, the things mentioned above have an impact on health. And there are many more like them. The chief DEMON behind them (and this is the demon that was revealed) is POOR GOVERNANCE. Christians should start to be interested in how governance is done in all spheres that affect them - in church, local area, national government, etc. They should resist all forms of corruption, and be interested in policies, laws, and provisions of the constitution and how they are implemented. They should put the right leaders in positions of authority demand that they deliver services befitting to be rendered to the children of God.

IS BOWING TO RESPECTED LEADERS A SIN FOR CHRISTIANS?

 It depends on motive. If one is bowing to worship the person as God, and if the person can take instructions from such a leader to do anything, including what the Bible says is wrong and a sin, then such bowing is wrong. But if the person is showing respect to the person as God's servant - whether in church, government, organization, family, etc, that they served or are serving with diligence and commitment and did well to people - who are God's inheritance, then one can bow. It respects both God - that He gave the person as a gift to serve His people, the person, that as His servant, he obediently served or serves others humanly.

There are examples of godly people in the Bible bowing down to humans.

- While negotiating the purchase of a burial plot for his family, Abraham bowed to the local Hittite people on two occasions (Gen 23:7, 12).

- Joseph bowed down to his father, Jacob, just before Jacob blessed Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh (Gen 48:12). - When Moses met his father-in-law in the vicinity of Mount Sinai after the exodus, he bowed down and kissed him (Exod 18:7).

- Ruth, thankful at Boaz’s kindness, bowed down with her face towards the ground (Ruth 2:10).

- A similar action was exhibited by David when saying goodbye to Jonathan (1 Sam 20:41).

-David also bowed down to Saul when he greeted him after sparing his life (1 Sam 24:8).

- Abigail bowed down to the ground when greeting David (1 Sam 25:23).

- Queen Bathsheba bowed down to King David (1 Kgs 1:16). - The prophet Nathan also bowed down to King David (1 Kgs 1:23).

- God made David’s enemies bow at his feet (Ps 18:39 [MT Ps 18:40]).

- King Solomon also greeted his mother, Bathsheba, by bowing down to her (1 Kgs 2:19). In 2 Kgs 1:13,

- A pious military commander bowed down to the prophet Elijah.

Leaders should however not be drunk with power and a sense of self-importance to the point of forcing people to bow before them. Such a forced bowing would mean nothing. It reminds of a story where a teacher was forcing a pupil to stand to show respect to him. They were not in good terms then. The teacher used his authority and finally, the pupil stood up. The pupil then told the teacher, "physically I am standing but know that in my heart I am seated down"

People should willingly choose to show such respect to their leaders. It shows that the leader served or serves them well.

Leaders should also remember that they are stewards and there is a God in heaven whose servants we all are. They should ask themselves if they have served well to deserve such respect. They should also be careful rest such acts of respect make them think that they are the deity and can order people against God. It is on that caution that some people and even angels refused the respect shown to them by an act of bowing.

Remember Jesus is a man appointed by God to be our King and Lord and if we will truly honor him well eternally, we need to have developed a culture of honoring set leaders.

Rom.13:7

"Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority." NLT.

Role Of Religion in Society

- Morals and character building
- Alleviating poverty through empowering and supporting needy cases
- Advocating for human rights and social justice
- Offers comfort and hope to those in despair and so they can get the strength to pick up their pieces and rebuild  their lives
- Helps in peacebuilding initiatives
- Promotes education and social well-being of people by building schools, colleges, and hospitals
- Helps in conflict resolution
- It offers its members a sense of identity.
- Regular attendance at religious services is linked to well-behaved children
- Religious attendance boosts social skills.
- It is good for mental health
- It gives life purpose, meaning and connects people to their creator
- It helps define what is socially acceptable or not
- Members mostly are taught to help their own who are in need.
